Francesco Marrocchino (father) founded his first company in the commercial kitchen industry in 1989, based on over 15 years of his own experience in the catering industry. His innovations included constant stock availability across the entire product range, combined with professional logistics and after-sales service. This revolutionised the distribution of commercial kitchen equipment.

Vittorio Marrocchino (son) founded what is now Virtus Group GmbH in 2004, initially operating under the name Mastro GmbH. He is now the registered managing director. Father and son run the company together.
